Homemade Window Cleaner

I am really short on time today, so I am posting a recipe that doesn't involve figuring out the prices of a long list of ingredients. It only has three ingredients, and one if them is water, so really there's only two. It is a recipe for homemade window cleaner. I found it a few years ago and I love it. I think it works even better than Windex. And it is soooo much cheaper.

Homemade Window Cleaner

1 cup rubbing alcohol
1/4 tsp Dawn dishwashing liquid
2 cups water (I use hot water, but I don't think it really matters.)
Pour all ingredients into a spray bottle and shake to combine. That's it!!

I usually buy rubbing alchohol when it goes on sale 3/$1. You only use half of the bottle, so that would be about 17 cents. The dawn is a few more cents (sorry, I'm not figuring out the exact amount, I am way to tired to think that hard). But basically, even if you round up, the cost of this cleaner is less than 25 cents a bottle!! Now that is a significant savings baby!
Um, you might be wondering why I am showing a picture of Glass Plus. It's not really Glass Plus. I'm just showing you that when you are finished using up your costly window cleaner, you can just re-use the bottle. Oh, and also, I wanted to show you that this cleaner isn't blue like regular glass cleaner, it is just clear. Have a wonderful weekend!!! And go clean some mirrors. It's way to cold outside to clean windows! Mine will be dirty till at least May. :)
