First of all, a shout out to all the wonderful members of the military who have fought or are fighting for freedom. We are so grateful for you and pray for you and your families. If any of you ladies reading this have men serving, let them know that my family and I appreciate what they are doing. I know it is a sacrifice, and we are truly grateful!!

It has been so wonderful to be able to craft again. I have so many decorating projects I want to finish I can hardly stand it. My hubbie teases me a little because sometimes I lay awake at night thinking of things I can spray paint. Please tell me I'm not the only one. ;)

We've got a little space between our entryway and kitchen that has needed an updated wall hanging for some time now. I finally decided what I wanted there, so I got to work.

I started with this frame that had been stored under our bed with a bunch of other frames:

Bought this barn star with a 50% off coupon at Roberts. It ended up being $3.50.

Used a little spray paint. (Of course.)

I added some canvas and ribbon, and here is my latest piece of art.

It makes me smile every time I walk past it. I luuuuv it!
