Look What I Made! day

Welcome to the first”Look What I Made!” day here at the new website. Same linky party, just a different location. And a new button. Here is the code so you can put it on your blog.

There were so many amazing projects last week. You guys are so awesome!

Don’t you just love this lantern? Bridgette at All Thingz Related MADE it. Like out of pieces of wood. I know. I couldn’t believe it either.

Check out this adorable blanket over at Keeping the Castle.
Love those flowers in the corner. So totally cute!

I wish I would have seen an idea like this when my boys were a little younger. Brittany over at Goings on at the Glenn’s made her kids’ bunkbed into a playhouse.
Is that not the coolest idea ever?

I thought I made some pretty cute hair clips. Till I saw these:
Melanie at Whimsical Creations made these out of polymer clay. She uses them to adorn hair bows. Serious cuteness heaven!

And last but not least, check out these cute fabric bracelets:
Jill at Women Who Do It All shows you how to make them. And they look so simple, I can’t wait to try. :)

If you’ve been featured, feel free to grab my new button over on the right. (And do me a favor and let me know if it works, OK.)

Okey dokey, now it’s your turn. Everybody get linkin’!

Here are the McLinky guidelines:
1-Add a link to your specific post, not the main page of your blog. To do this you click on the title of your post, then copy and paste that URL rather than the one that comes up when you open your blog. Make sense?
2-Add a short description of your project after your name. Ex: Kara (table makeover)
3-Link back to this party from your post. It’s the nice thing to do.

4-Visit some of the other links and make sure to leave nice comments. You know we all love them. :)

  1. Thank you so much for featuring my bow centers.

    BTW…your bows are very cute!

    =D

  2. Hello,
I just joined your party and copied the code from the sidebar … and it is just showing up as a link. Really weird thing is that in the preview of my post it shows as a button – but once I post it there is just a link, no button. And I am not using internet explorer – i am using firefox.
    :-(

  3. omg, those apples are to die for.. they look great painted but i would keep them in their natural state, they’re gorgeous! wish I could find them at my local craft store!

  4. I copied/pasted the html, but it doesn’t seem to have worked…..

    • Apparently there is some trouble with it working with Internet Explorer. The one on the sidebar should work though. I have no idea why one works and the other doesn’t. :(
Let me know if you can’t get that one to work either.

  5. Love this party! Great ideas…I linked up and linked back.

  6. I can’t wait to go visit some of these creative project making ladies. Thanks so much for hosting.

  7. This is your hubbie leaving a reply.
    The site is looking great.
    I love you.

  8. Brittany says:

Hey thanks for featuring me on your blog today! It was not expected. Made my day! I really like the new look over here too!

  9. Those are all awesome – I REALLY like the bunk bed idea!!

  10. Love the new look of your blog! We’d love to link up, but we’re having troubles with the linky. Of course, it could just be on our end….

    • Nope, it wasn’t you. I messed something up. But my hubbie just fixed it, so it should be working now. :)
      Kara

    • It’s not showing up on mine either… There is a little box where it should be (that works as a link!) but no pretty button :-(

    • Apparently the button link within the post doesn’t work with internet explorer. I can’t figure out why. :(
The one on the sidebar should work though. Let me know if you have any problems with it.
