Look What I Made! 6-2-10

Welcome to another "Look What I Made!" day here at the new website. I know several of you had trouble with the button last week. We've tweaked it again, but it appears to still have issues for some of you. The one on the sidebar seems to be working. Please try it out and let me know if you have any trouble.

You guys sure make it hard to choose projects to feature. I love so many of them that I have a hard time narrowing it down!

I have a thing for candlesticks. Especially big ones with lots of curves. So when Sarah at a little of this, a little of that did a tutorial on pottery barn knock-off candles, I instantly feel in love.Check out the amazing Memorial day table-scape that the Style Sisters put together. Seriously so awesome. If I get ambitious, I might have to try it for the 4th of July. So dang cute!Vinyl lettering is all the rage right now. I adore this wood family sign at House of Smiths. Such a great idea to stack the two on top of each other. Love it!I love trying new methods for making fabric flowers. Well, I just added another one to my to-do list. Check out the cute felt flower tutorial that Katie over at Food, Wine, & Mod Podge put together. I can't wait to try it!Summer has been slow in coming here in Utah, and I can use all the flowers that I can get. I think this adorable framed flower at the Redberry Barn would do wonders for my grouchy mood on cloudy days. You can't help but smile when you see something so bright and cheery. If you've been featured, feel free to grab my new button over on the right. (And do me a favor and let me know if it works, OK.)

Okey dokey, now it's your turn. Everybody get linkin'! Feel free to link up a crafty project, or a yummy recipe.

Here are the McLinky guidelines:
1-Add a link to your specific post, not the main page of your blog. To do this you click on the title of your post, then copy and paste that URL rather than the one that comes up when you open your blog. Make sense?
2-Add a short description of your project after your name. Ex: Kara (table makeover)
3-Link back to this party from your post. It's the nice thing to do.

4-Visit some of the other links and make sure to leave nice comments. You know we all love them. :)

  1. Hey Kara, thanks so much for the feature!

Your button is SO CLOSE to working… but it doesn't quite yet. Your problem is that you have two types of quotes, and one of them is messing everything up.

If you copy and paste your html above, you get this:

If you fix the ""s then you get this:

    • Well that didn't work, now did it. The comment box is pulling the html code so you can't see it when the posts are done. Feel free to just delete the comments. But yes, the "s are your problem!

      Thanks again for the feature!

    • That is exactly the problem that I fixed last night, and now they are appearing again. Grrr! The button on the sidebar appears to be working though.

  2. I guess it has been awhile since I stopped by your blog! I love the new look. =) so so cute!
