Look What I Made! Day 8-18-10

From here on out, I’m only going to feature projects that have an actual link back to me within the post.  I figure if you take the extra time to add my button, or even just a link, I’ll take the extra time to feature your project. With an actual link to it. Not just a “check out all my favorite projects by clicking over here“. Cuz we all know most people aren’t going to take the time to do that. ;)  It’s all about sharing the love.

So, here are a few of my favorite projects from readers that shared some love with me. Thanks guys! Enjoy your day in the spotlight. :)

First up is this ruffled flower sweater that Char over at Crap I’ve Made embellished for her daughter. It looks like it took ions of time, but dang it’s cute!
Next up is a bag that Allie over at Just a Mom made. It has rosettes on it. I love rosettes. And check this. It’s reversible! That is totally cool. She even does a tutorial so you can make one of your own.
You will not believe what this desk looked like before Christa refinished it. The base was totally rotted out. You would never guess that now. Absolutely stunning! And she refinished the chair too. Visit Modern Vintage Interiors for all the details.
I’ve never made kolaches before. I don’t know if I’ve even tasted them before. But oh my. I must make them. Soon. The recipe from At Home with Haley looks amazing. So what if it’s August and 90° outside. I’m doing some baking!
OK, it’s getting late and I’m tired, so here are the last two:

Craigslist chest over at Meridian Road. Love the two tone paint!
Dresser turned vanity at That’s My Story. Ya, I know, amazing. I never would have thought of it either. ;)

OK, I’ll stop talking now. If you’ve been featured, feel free to grab the button over at the right.  :)

Alrighty, everybody get linkin’! Feel free to link up a craft project, decorating idea, or a yummy recipe.

Here are the McLinky guidelines:
1-Add a link to your specific post, not the main page of your blog. To do this you click on the title of your post, then copy and paste that URL rather than the one that comes up when you open your blog. Make sense?
2-Add a short description of your project after your name. Ex: Kara (table makeover)
3-Link back to this party from your post. It’s the nice thing to do.

4-Visit some of the other links and make sure to leave nice comments. You know we all love them. :)

  8. Hi Kara,
I don’t actually put the button on my post, because sometimes I link up older projects. I do a special post each day highlighting the parties I’m in so my readers can discover new blogs and link up. I like promoting other people. Is that cool?
