Freschetta Pizza Simply Inspired Giveaway

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of FRESCHETTA® for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

FRESCHETTA® Simply…Inspired™I have not made a single meal since we came home from California. My neighbors are totally spoiling us by bringing in dinners. I felt a little guilty because I am not recovering from a C-section like I was with the last four. But I am dang tired. I’m a lot older than I was last time I did this whole waking up during the night thing. ;) Plus I am taking medicine to help me be able to breastfeed. One of the side effects is drowsiness. Great. Just what I need. Needless to say, when dinnertime rolls around, I’m pretty much exhausted. So it is great not having to cook.

As soon as meals stop coming in, I have a feeling we might be eating a little more frozen pizza than we normally do. Freschetta contacted me through Social Spark to see if I’d like to do a review and giveaway. This was a few weeks ago, before I had any idea my life was going to be filled with baby snuggling and sleepless nights. They sent me a fun wooden cutting board with a knife set, and a coupon to try one of their new Simply Inspired pizzas. Since we have dinners coming in, I decided to make it up as an after school snack for my four boys.

The first thing I liked about the pizza is that it doesn’t come in a big bulky cardboard box that’s hard to open. You just pull the Fresch-Taste Seal tab, and you’re good to go. The pizza stays fresh inside, and there is less waste. Very cool! We’ve never tried thin crust pizza before, and I was skeptical, but I actually liked it. We tried the Hawaiian variety, because I figured that was the one my boys would like, but they had other varieties that sounded awesome! The crust was crunchy but also slightly chewy, and I enjoyed it. It had BBQ sauce instead of the regular tomato variety, and I thought it was a nice change. My boys weren’t fans of the BBQ sauce, but I liked it more than I usually like BBQ sauce on pizza.  It wasn’t overpowering, but had a nice flavor and was slightly sweet. The pineapple on top tasted like fresh pineapple, not canned. Yummy! For frozen pizza, I thought it was quite good.

Lucky for you guys, they are letting me do a giveaway as well. One of you is going to win a coupon for a freeFRESCHETTA® Simply…Inspired™ pizza, and this cute little round cutting board:

It opens up, and on the inside is a cute little set of knives and serving fork. Love it!
