When Blogging Meets Real Life

My favorite part about blogging, hands down, is the connections I make with other women. I love reading your blogs, being inspired by you, laughing with you, sometimes crying with you. Most of all, I love it when I get to meet you in real life. Even when I meet my favorite bloggers for the first time, it feels like we are already friends. We have an instant connection, and it is just amazing!

I met Kris and Kim from the DIY Dish a couple years ago.

Kris just opened a quilt shop in Logan, Utah called My Girlfriends Quilt Shop. My family reunion last week was in Logan, so I knew I had to stop by. I am so glad I did. Oh my gosh, so stinkin’ cute!

Check out the gorgeous fabrics, and all of the cute project ideas. I could have spent hours just looking!
Even the kid’s play area is adorable! Love the Riley Blake fabric tree in the corner. :)
Lucky for me, both Kris and Kim happened to be there. These sisters are two of the cutest, friendliest, talented ladies around. I ♥ them!
If you are ever in the area, you have got to stop by and visit. You won’t be sorry!

  1. Wow, I would love to visit. I love the kid area! I would go there just so my little daughter could play! I’m visiting from Sew Dan Cute. Ilove your table cloth you shared.
I’m hoping to visit Logan more since my son is going to UTAH STATE! YEAH for Utah State! I will definately visit My Girlfriends Quilt Shop!

  2. You were in Logan and didn’t let me know!!!!! I’m MAD!!!! (but not that mad, I’m more sad:( We can still be friends.) I need to stop by there. I drive past it all the time and think “I need to go meet them when I don’t have the kids with me.” With the kid area, I should just take the gang in! Missing you. I want to see and hear more about that beautiful baby of yours!!!!
