The Family That Laughs Together. . .

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of American Family Insurance for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

You know those projects you have that just don’t turn out like you anticipated. The kind where everything takes longer than you think it will because you have to keep starting over. The kind that make you want to:

a-cuss like a sailor
b-pull your hair out
c-hit something
d-eat an entire carton of ice cream
e-do all four

I’ve had plenty of my share of those projects. It ain’t fun people. Stresses me out and makes me turn into a screaming meanie. I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. Right? Please say yes. ;)

At our house, one way we try to relieve stress is with humor. At the end of a long day, you will often find us huddled around the kitchen computer watching funny clips on youtube. Because nothing bonds a family like laughing till milk shoots out your nose. Unless that milk lands on somebody, and then things quickly go downhill. But back to the point.

Laughter really does make you feel better.

As parents, we are always on the lookout for good clean humor. Without the swearing, crude jokes, and just plain nastiness. It can be hard to find.

American Family Insurance has put together a Comedy Special called Stand Up For Family.  It features several stand up comics that share funny experiences from their own family life. The ones I watched were appropriate for the whole family. Gotta love that! The clips are just a couple minutes long, so you can get your laughter for the day in just a short time. :)

I didn’t watch every single clip, but these were a few of my favorites:

Football by Donnell Rawlings– I can relate. Except that I wasn’t actually ever on a team, I was just the last kid picked. Always.

Old School Grandmother by Mark Viera– “Don’t ask me for nothin’.”  Yes!!

Momma Talk by Bill Bellamy–Haha! I totally used to “prep” my boys when they were younger whenever we went somewhere.

If you’re having one of those days where you need a break, head on over to  AmFam for a chuckle or two. :)
