And Then I Cursed

Yesterday was a super productive day for me. Rachel had two long naps, and it was glorious! I finished up a Valentine’s Wreath, added some decor to my laundry room, added another coat of paint to my mantel, and tried a new recipe. Took pictures of all of it so I could share everything with you.

And then. . . .

I stuck my SD card in the computer to upload all the photos.

Nothing.

I thought it was my computer, so I re-booted.

Still nothing.

Waited for my computer savvy husband to come home and figure out what the heck was going on.

Turns out my card BROKE! What the?
As far as we can tell, I lost all the photos. All my hard work making up tutorials is down the drain.

I was so ticked off!! Still am actually.
The post for today was all ready, I just needed a shot of the completed project.
Which is now lost.
And I can’t take a new one, because the card is broken.

Feel free to say a few swear words for me.
Or cry. I did that too.

  1. Stupid memory card! What a pain. At least it wasn’t a wedding or birthday or something, right?

  2. Chelle Chapman says:

Awww, Bless Your Heart!!! Yes, I did curse, cry, kick, snarl & then prayed for patience, warmth, dried tears, kisses on your forehead & a great big HUG from all of your friends that live in & out of your computer. Hope you have a much better tomorrow!!!! ;) <3

  3. Are you sure your name isn’t Shirley..(Ha-Ha) Things like that happens to me too.

  4. Oh no! I have said every swear word in the book for you…twice. That totally sucks! I feel your pain. But can’t wait to see the wreath when you get a new card. :)

  5. Oh! I’m so sorry! I know how frustrating that can be! Hang in there. :)

  6. Ahh, that stinks. I think you can retrieve the photos yif you bring it to a camera shop. The tech people can get the images off broken card so at least you have them. I feel for ya, that kind of feeling makes you wanna throw up.

  7. Oh #%&@! I am so sorry – I hate when things happen like that! It sounds like you have a lot of fun things in store for us and we will be here waiting when you get things figured out and get a new card!

  8. I’m really sorry that happened to you. I have similar crap happen to me from time to time. It is so frustrating! We will all be looking forward to when you can get everything up again.

  9. OH no, that’s the worst feeling :(

  10. I’m so sorry that you lost your pictures and all of your work, that really stinks big time! I feel your pain. Back in the day when all we had were 35mm film cameras, I lost half of a year of family pictures (trips to the fair, my kids milestones, everything). I discovered when I had finished the roll of film and went to take it out of the camera to develop it, that I never put it in the first place, lol. :) There was no way of knowing there wasn’t any film in the camera until I opened up the door in the back. This seems so ancient now. I can smile about it now, but at the time I wasn’t smiling! I love the days when I feel like I get a lot done and am excited to see all of your projects (when you get a new card). Hope your day goes better for you today. :)

  11. Oh sad! I’m sorry!
