No, you're not in the wrong place.
I've decided to make a few changes to my website. I'm doing it myself, and I am NOT an expert, so things may look wonky around here for a few days.
Hopefully it will all be worth it in the end. (Fingers crossed)

I know your husband is a huge help in this area, but I do all my own blog design as well as my website and my sisters, cousins and a few random others if you ever want some help! I like the new header!
The new header looks great! And I know what a pain it is to figure out all the WordPress stuff- I'm on hold waiting for my hosting service, Go Daddy, to help me with an issue for a site I'm currently working on. It's hard for me to learn this stuff but I'm glad I'm learning it. I might even understand some of this 'geek speak' and be able to impress my spouse eventually! LOL!
Looks like you've got a good start- I'm sure it will all be fabulous when you're done!
