Linky Party #175: Cream Sweater Wreath

Winter has hit full force around here. And by full force I mean over a foot of snow- so far. It is still coming down. My boys were all an hour late coming home from school because the buses kept getting stuck. Those poor bus drivers! This morning one of them slid off the road into our tree (thankfully it's a dead one that we needed to tear out anyway). This afternoon at the last stop, one of them fishtailed just up the road and was stuck for over 30 minutes. That's after being stuck for 45 minutes with a bus load of kids– and keeping her cool the whole time.  I am definitely going to send treats with my boys to say thanks for a job well done! Hopefully not tomorrow, because it's supposed to keep snowing, and I'm hoping they cancel school. No one should have to deal with that kind of stress two days in a row!

Anyway, on to the link party.  Time to do a little braggin'. Link up your DIY projects, crafts, and recipes. :)

Thanks to all you awesome ladies who link back! It helps me out, but you are also doing yourselves a favor. The more people who join the linky party, the more exposure your projects will get. So PLEASE link back! Here's the code, but a text link works just as well. :)

Cream Sweater Wreath from Design, Dining, and Diapers
I love the texture of this pretty sweater wreath, and I double love that you could keep it up long after Christmas is over!

Here are the rules for playing nice:

1-Add a link to your specific post, not the main page of your blog. Please don't link the same project week after week. Everyone wants to see new stuff!
2-Add a short description of your project Ex: (painted kitchen cabinets)
3-Link back to this party from your post. It's the nice thing to do.
4-Visit some of the other links and make sure to leave nice comments. You know we all love them. :)

Link up your latest projects and recipes. No more than 2 link-ups per person please.

  4. The wreath is so cute and elegant. I am sure I can find an old sweater to use! Thank you for sharing!

  5. I can see why you would like them to cancel school. I wouldn't want to be a bus driver in that weather. We didn't get that much here. I hope you survive the snow today. :)

  7. Thanks for hosting, Kara! I remember riding the bus as a kid, and those snowy days were always scary. We got stuck in the ditch a few times!
