Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad. . . loaded with chicken, bacon, avocados, and other yummy ingredients, this salad is sure to become a family favorite!
During the hot summer months, we love a good main dish salad for dinner. I nice cold pasta salad can be so refreshing, not to mention tasty! I combined several of our favorite flavors to come up with this recipe, and it was an instant winner!
This pasta salad is not only great for dinner at home, it is perfect for picnics and BBQ’s. Just put it in an airtight container or gallon sized ziplock bag and toss it in a cooler full of ice. If you take it to a potluck, I bet you’ll come home with an empty bowl!
- 16 oz. bag spiral pasta
- 3 chicken breasts, cooked and diced
- 1/2 pound bacon, cooked till crispy and crumbled
- 3 celery stalks, diced
- 1-2 green onions, sliced
- 2 roma tomatoes, chopped
- 1 1/3 - 1 1/2 cups ranch dressing
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water. Drain and cool. Pour into a large mixing bowl. Add chicken, bacon, celery, green onions, and tomatoes. Mix well. Stir in ranch dressing.
- Serve immediately or chill. Garnish with extra bacon if desired.
