I am a liar. I know. I said I would post all the details of my kitchen nook wall decor on Tuesday. What can I say? Stuff happens. 🙂
Here you go, all the nitty gritty details:
The mirror sconce thingies I picked up at the thrift store for $1.50 each. They were dirty and in sad shape:
After I made them, I stuck them in a hurricane vase and put it on top of a candle holder.
I already had the shelf. I bought it sometime last year but I can’t remember where. I think it was $2.
I bought the white frame at a garage sale for $1. I didn’t even have to paint it, it was already perfect. Score! All I did was cut out a vinyl “C” and adhered it to the back of the glass. Sorry no photo. Can’t find it.
I picked this bookend up at the fabric store.
I know, weird. Why the heck a fabric store would sell these is beyond me. But it was 80% off, so I didn’t ask any questions. I bought the set of 2 for $3.
It was an ugly gold/bronze color, but I really liked the shape of it. All I did was wash it off and give it a couple coats of black spray paint.
So there you have it, how I decorated my wall without spending a lot of money.
