    That really looks good! Much better than the plain wood that they come in. One question- how do you keep the paint out of the holes for the knives? I want the knives to stay clean and not be exposed to the paint.

      I used spray paint, and I did light coats, so the paint didn’t go into the holes at all. Easy peasy!

    What a simple but brilliant idea!! I think I even have an old “Cutco” utensil holder myself. Your blog is so nice. I’m glad I ran across it. I just printed off your recipe for orange zuccinni cake. Sounds really good. Wish I had a piece with my morning coffee. 🙂
