Rosette Frame-Take Two

I am a tweaker. I can’t seem to leave things alone. Even after I finish a project I am always thinking of ways I could make it better. I know. I’m insane.
Last March I made over an old frame into a reward system for our boys.
I know a lot of you weren’t around back then, so I’ll do a quick re-cap. When we see one of our boys doing something positive, they get a point. When they have 10 points, they get to stay up late one night with my husband and I. We’ve been doing it for almost a year, and it is still working fabulously! It is great spending alone time having fun with each child, and it doesn’t cost us a cent. Totally rockin!
Oh, and before you all leave me messages asking why poor little Justin has 0 points, he had just stayed up the night before, so he was starting over. I really don’t neglect him. 😉

Anyway, there is one thing that has always bothered me about the frame. Why the heck did I stick one flower in each corner? I have no idea. After it was up for about a day I thought it looked mighty dorky. I kept meaning to get to it.  Now that I’m re-doing the kitchen, the color of the fabric rosettes doesn’t work. I’m still using red, but I’m going with a brighter red. It was just the kick in the pants that I needed. I finally got this project completed.

I like my rosette frame so much better now! What do you think?

  1. Ruthie Perez says:

    much better:)

  2. I like the extra white things you added to the rosettes. We should start up this caught bein’ good thing again at our house…….but 1st we gotta start putting the other kids down earlier so that stayin’ up late doesn’t kill us!

  3. Karen Weight says:

I love it! Rosette’s just make everything look better, don’t they? Have a great week!
