Ingredients

  • 3 pounds russet potatoes 4 large potatoes
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 ½ tsp seasoning salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika

Instructions

  • Peel or scrub potatoes and cut into 1/2" strips. Place in a large bowl and cover with cold water. Let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  • Drain potatoes well and pat dry with paper towels or clean dish towels.
  • Add oil to potatoes and stir well till potatoes are thoroughly coated. Add seasonings and stir vigorously.
  • Spread potatoes onto baking sheets sprayed with non stick cooking spray. I like to use two baking sheets so the potatoes have plenty of space between them.
  • Bake at 450° for 15-20 minutes. Remove and flip potatoes. Bake for another 10-15 minutes or until crispy on the outside.
