Caramel Eggnog Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup commercially prepared eggnog
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Combine butter, sugars, and eggnog in a medium sized saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till mixture comes to a boil.
  • Boil and stir for 2 minutes, or till thickened. Remove from heat and stir in nutmeg and cinnamon.
  • Serve warm over just about anything.

Notes

Store leftover sauce in the refrigerator and heat before serving.
