Ingredients
  

  • 1 ⅓ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup granola
  • cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • ¼ cup oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chopped almonds toasted
  • cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped maraschino cherries

Instructions
 

  • Combine dry ingredients in large bowl. Beat together egg, buttermilk, oil and vanilla in a small bowl. Add to dry ingredients with nuts and chips. Stir just until moistened. Gently fold in the cherries.
  • Fill greased or paper lined muffin tins 3/4 full.
  • Bake at 350° for about 15 minutes. Cool in pans for about 5 minutes before removing to cooling racks.
