Easy Sesame Green Bean Recipe

Tender crisp green beans covered in a buttery soy sauce glaze, topped with sesame seeds. A perfect side dish!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups about 1 pound fresh or frozen green beans
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 ½ Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • If using fresh beans, wash and cut off the ends.
  • Bring a quart of water to a boil, add the salt and green beans. Boil for about 5 minutes, or until crisp tender. Drain.
  • Melt butter in the microwave, stir in soy sauce and sesame seeds. Pour over cooked beans. Serve hot.

Notes

If using frozen beans, you only need to boil for a couple minutes, just till they are hot.
