Homemade Peach Milkshake Recipe

Peach season isn't complete without one of these delicious peach milkshakes! Almond extract is a secret ingredient that makes them so, so good.

- 2 cups sliced fresh peaches divided
- ½ cup milk
- 2 cups good quality vanilla ice cream
- ⅛ tsp almond extract optional but so good!
Peel and slice the peaches. Place all but about a half cup of them in the bottom of your blender with the milk. Blend until smooth
Add the ice cream and almond extract. Blend again.
Add the last of the fresh peach slices. Pulse until the shake is your desired consistency. Serve immediately.
- Chill the peaches so they don't melt the ice cream.
- These shakes are also delicious with a couple tablespoons of frozen orange juice concentrate!
