Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¾ tsp baking soda
  • ½ cup soft butter
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup jam or jelly of your choice I used raspberry
  • 1 ⅔ cups Reese’s peanut butter chips divided

Instructions

  • Mix together flour, brown sugar, and baking soda in a large mixing bowl. Use a pastry blender or fork to cut the butter into the dry ingredients till mixture is crumbly. Stir in egg till dough forms. Set aside 1 cup of the dough.
  • Press remaining dough in the bottom of a well greased 8″ pan. Spread jam evenly over the dough. Sprinkle 1 cup of the chips evenly over the jam. Stir remaining chips into the reserved dough. Break dough into bits and sprinkle over the top.
  • Bake in a preheated 375° for about 25 minutes or till golden brown. Cool completely, then cut into bars.
