Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic minced (optional)
  • 1 pound fettuccine noodles cooked in salted water

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium low heat. Whisk in flour, then milk. Cook and stir for at least one minute.
  • Stir in cream, parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic. Cook and stir until cheese is melted, but don't boil.
  • Serve over hot pasta.
