Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • 1 15 oz can pineapple chunks reserve juice
  • cup reserved pineapple juice
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 10 oz can condensed tomato soup
  • 3 cups hot cooked white rice

Instructions
 

  • Brown ground beef in a large skillet with onion over medium high heat. Drain off any grease.
  • Add remaining ingredients except rice. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
  • Serve over hot cooked rice.

Notes

-If you like your green peppers crunchy, add them after the mixture has simmered. I prefer it that way.
