Spray a 9x13" baking dish with non stick cooking spray. Preheat your oven to 350°.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium high heat until completely browned. Drain off any fat and add the black beans, salsa, and taco seasoning. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
While the meat is browning, unroll the crescent roll dough. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan, making sure to seal all of the seams. I like to press it up the sides about 1/4 - 1/2 inch.
Spread the meat mixture evenly over the crust. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes, or until crust is light brown and the cheese is melted.
While it is baking, wash and chop the lettuce and tomatoes.
Before serving, sprinkle the lettuce and diced tomato over the top of the melted cheese. Cut into slices and serve.
Notes
If you can find the crescent roll sheet dough, it's easier to use!
Feel free to add any additional garnishes your family enjoys! We've tried avocado, sour cream, green onions, and crushed tortilla chips.
