2ozgruyère cheesegrated (about 3/4 cup)

5large eggs
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°. Line the pie crust with aluminum foil and fill with dry beans or pie weights. Bake the crust on the lowest oven rack for about 15 minutes.
Carefully remove the foil and dry beans.
Layer the bacon bits and grated cheese in the bottom of the pie crust. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Whisk together the milk and eggs in a medium bowl. Pour the egg mixture over the cheese.
Reduce the oven heat to 350 degrees. Return the pie dish to the oven and bake for another 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. A knife inserted in the middle should come out clean.
Let quiche sit for 5 minutes, then cut into wedges.
