Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • ¼ tsp dry oregano
  • ¾ tsp dried basil
  • ¼ tsp dry parsley flakes
  • tsp onion powder
  • 1 clove garlic minced (or 1/4 tsp garlic powder)
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat to low.
  • Simmer for about 5 minutes, or until slightly thickened.

Notes

  • This makes about a cup of pizza sauce.
  • For no cook pizza sauce, just mix the ingredients together in a glass bowl, cover, and chill for 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to blend together.
