Easy Homemade Pizza Sauce

Ridiculously easy to make, this sauce will be the start of many great pizza nights at home! It's also perfect for breadstick dipping.

- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
- ¼ tsp dry oregano
- ¾ tsp dried basil
- ¼ tsp dry parsley flakes
- ⅛ tsp onion powder
- 1 clove garlic minced (or 1/4 tsp garlic powder)
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat to low.
Simmer for about 5 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
- This makes about a cup of pizza sauce.
- For no cook pizza sauce, just mix the ingredients together in a glass bowl, cover, and chill for 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to blend together.
