Ingredients
  

  • 1 unbaked pastry crust, 9-inch homemade or store bought
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • ¾ cup sweetened flaked coconut
  • ¼ cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Combine butter and one cup of chocolate chips in a glass bowl. Melt in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds till smooth. Set aside.
  • Whisk together the sugars, flour, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Slowly beat in the melted chocolate mixture at low speed. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  • Fold in the vanilla, pecans, coconut, and 1/4 cup chocolate chips.
  • Pour mixture into the unbaked pie crust. Bake at 350° for about 35-40 minutes, or till set. Be careful not to over-bake.
  • Serve warm with ice cream, or at room temperature.
