Wash and trim green beans. Cook in a large skillet with the broth or water over medium heat till crisp tender. Remove from the skillet and discard any water left in the pan.
Add the hamburger to the skillet and cook till completely browned. Add garlic and cook another minute. If needed, drain off any fat.
Add cream cheese and stir till melted. Stir in the cream, salt, pepper, and worcestershire sauce. Add the beans to the skillet and heat through.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Turn heat to low and cover the skillet with a lid. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until cheese is melted.
