Place candy canes in a ziplock bag. Crush with a hammer or rolling pin till pieces are tiny. (Tip: I use a little strainer to separate the pieces from the peppermint "dust" that gets left behind. I save the dust to sprinkle in hot chocolate. Yummy!)
Spread your pretzels out in a single layer on silicone liners or parchment paper.
Place white chocolate and oil in a glass bowl. Melt in the microwave at 40-50% power, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
Pour melted chocolate in a small ziplock bag and snip a tiny hole in the corner. Drizzle melted chocolate on pretzels, and sprinkle crushed candy canes over the top.
Let sit till hardened. You can place in the fridge to speed up the process.
Notes
I recommend drizzling chocolate on a few pretzels at a time so that you can add the candy bits before the chocolate sets.
If you prefer, you can melt the white chocolate using a double boiler (or glass/metal bowl over a simmering pot of water). Remove from the heat and stir every 30 seconds; white chocolate is easy to burn.
