golden grahams cereal

coconut flakes
or shredded coconut

sliced almonds

light corn syrup

sugar

salted butter

Instructions
Mix rice chex, golden grahams, coconut, and almonds in a large bowl.
In a medium saucepan, combine corn syrup, sugar, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Boil for 2 minutes, then let cool for 2 minutes.
Pour the sugar mixture over the cereal mix. Stir well until all the pieces are evenly coated.
Spread evenly on wax paper, parchment paper, or cookie sheets that have been sprayed with cooking spray. Let sit for a few minutes to cool.
Notes
Chex mix will keep at room temperature for about a week in an airtight container.
