Crochet Baby Booties with Rosettes

Thank you so much for all your feedback on my baby booties yesterday! I’ve never had so many comments. Well, except when I do giveaways of course. 😉

It was totally fun reading all of your comments and even getting a small glimpse into some of your personalities. Loved it!!! I need to start asking your advice more often because I totally enjoyed the interaction. In a house full of boys no one is really interested in crafty talk. So thanks for indulging me. 🙂

Most of you liked the roses on the front, but there were a few who preferred the side. I decided that I would make up some of each, and see which kind sells better.
Here is another photo of the ones with the rose on the front:
And here is another pair that I made from a different type of yarn. I attached the roses to the side.
Holey smack I love these booties! I can’t wait to try them in more colors. I really hope they sell well, because I need an excuse to make more. Don’t you think you have a daughter/niece/friend/granddaughter who would look adorable in them? If so, you can find them in my Etsy shop.

Update: A few of you asked where I got the bootie pattern. I can’t share it online because I got it out of a magazine. That I checked out of the library. It is a great resource for getting patterns without having to invest in a magazine subscription. Highly recommend it! Here is the magazine I found it in:
It is the June 2010 edition of Crochet World. The pattern is on page 6. I made a few changes to it to make it easier for me, but that is where I got the basic pattern.
