Tips and Tricks: Adding Keys to Key Rings

It has been a long time since I posted a “Tuesday Tips and Tricks” segment. But today I have a simple idea that is so genius I wish I would have thought of it years ago!

Do any of the rest of you have a hard time getting keys on a key ring? I hate doing it, because I usually end up breaking a fingernail. Or swearing. Or both. I found this tip in a book I checked out of the library months ago. To avoid frustration (and fingernail danger), use a staple remover to add or remove keys from a key ring.

I just tried it, and it worked fabulously! Use the staple remover to pull the ring apart:

Now go give it a try on one of your key rings. I know you want to. 🙂
