EASY FALL DECOR

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year, and I love fall decorating. When all my kids were little, I focused on Halloween, and then switched to Thanksgiving. But now I usually just use decorations that will work throughout the season.

I use lots of pumpkins, fall flowers and leaves, and of course some greenery. I love being able to put my decorations up the end of August, and leave them up till the end of November.

Sometimes I do switch a few things out for Thanksgiving. I have some beautiful pilgrim statues that I love, and a few more pieces. A few weeks ago I shared a “Hello Fall” printable. I wanted something a little more focused on Thanksgiving, so I came up with a new printable.

It says “Gather and give thanks”, and that is what Thanksgiving is all about at my house. Getting together with family, and showing our gratitude for all of our many blessings. And of course lots of delectable homemade food.

I’m a fan of the farmhouse chalkboard look, but I also made up a black and white version. They look so pretty in a simple brown frame. Of course, if you want to add a pop of color, you can always use a mustard, orange, or rust colored frame. Or any fun color for that matter!

You can hang one on a wall, or place it on a mantel or shelf. It’s a fun way to add some inexpensive Thanksgiving decor you your home!

This Thanksgiving print is designed to fit in an 8×10″ frame. I have this chunky white farmhouse frame that I just love. Several years ago, I bought it at a thrift store, painted it white, and distressed it. It’s been a favorite ever since. Because it’s nice and neutral, it fits in with my decor all year long.

I have several seasonal printables, and I store them all in the frame. I just rotate them so the one I want to display is in the front. It’s a great space saver because I don’t have to store all the frames!
