Things Will Work Out {Free LDS Printable}

Things Will Work Out . . . print this pretty quote as a reminder to hang in there when things are tough.

About a month ago I set a goal to finish decorating my living room. The living room that I started decorating almost two years ago. Two years! Holy crap, I have issues! Time to cross that project off my list, no? I finished my flower lampshade, so all I have left to do is decorate the three small tables in the room.

I have been working on putting some vignettes together, and I needed a little pop of color. So I decided to make a printable that I could frame. I found a printable quote (on Pinterest) from Makoodle that I loved, but it wasn’t the color that I needed. free-printable-ldsSo I decided to come up with my own printable. It is a more simple design, because for the life of me I can’t figure out how to make those cool shape frames. I tried, but after about an hour I threw in the towel. Because naptime only lasts so long, and I still hadn’t showered.

So I simplified. But it’s OK, because in the end, I think my design ended up working better with my living room decor. Thank goodness!

I printed it out on this white cardstock, put it in a 5×7″ frame that I got at the thrift store, spray painted white, and distressed with some sandpaper.

I love how it turned out, and it helps me remember that in the end, things will work out!

Since I went to all the work designing it (takes me an eternity to choose fonts), I decided I’d offer it as a free printable. I did it in aqua, yellow, grey, red, and pink. If there’s another color you are just dying to have, let me know and I’ll do my best to add it. 🙂

Update: It was brought to my attention I left the “c” out of Hinckley. I fixed that on the downloadable file. You can now download the printable without spelling errors. (Hanging my head in shame.)

      Jamie,
      I don’t have lots of experience with printables, but my guess is that trying to print it larger will not produce a good quality print. You could always try it though. 🙂

    I love this!
    Think I’ll frame some up and give them as teacher thank you gifts for my kids teachers. That’s a lot easier than the homemade freezer jam and bread I was contemplating:) Or maybe iron them onto my teen piano students bags for their recital prize.
    BTW… you left the c out of Hinckley 🙁

    Can I link this on my piano blog & include a picture of it?

        I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like homemade bread. And with homemade jam–pretty much heaven! 🙂
