Sinfully delicious, these no-bake peanut butter pretzel bars have it all — sweet, salty, crunchy, and creamy in every delectable bite! It’s hard to eat just one!

Peanut butter and chocolate is my favorite flavor combination. I seriously think I could eat it every day and never get tired of it.
I also love pretzels. So it was a no-brainer that I would instantly fall in love with this sweet treat inspired by Christy’s recipe. They combine all three!
Just like typical no-bake peanut butter bars, they are ridiculously easy to whip up. But instead of graham crackers in the peanut butter layer, you use crunchy pretzels. I love the extra crunch as well as the hint of salt.
If you love peanut butter, they are the perfect sweet and salty treat!
How to make pretzel peanut butter bars
- PREP – Line a 13×9-inch pan with parchment paper or foil and spray with cooking spray or spread with butter. Pulverize all 11 ounces of pretzels in a food processor. Shake the bowl until the large pieces rise to the top. Measure 1/2 cup of the larger pieces into a bowl and set aside. Chop the peanuts.
- PEANUT BUTTER PRETZEL LAYER – Melt the butter in the microwave in a large glass bowl. Add the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla to the melted butter. Beat until smooth.

Add the pretzel crumbs and stir until well combined.
Spread into the prepared pan.
- CHOCOLATE LAYER – Combine the 1/3 cup of peanut butter and the chocolate chips in a glass bowl. Heat in the microwave at half power, stirring in 30-second intervals until smooth.

Spread in an even layer over the bars.
- TOPPING – Immediately sprinkle the reserved pretzel crumbs and peanuts over the chocolate. Press them down gently.

- CHILL – Cover the pan with plastic wrap and chill the bars for at least an hour, or until the chocolate is set. Cut them into small squares and serve.
The hardest part about these bars is waiting for them to chill long enough that you can slice into them!

We like these delicious bars best cold, but you can serve them at room temperature. They just get a little messy as the chocolate softens.
PRO TIPS AND VARIATIONS:
- If you don’t have a food processor, you can place the pretzels in a heavy-duty ziplock plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin or the flat side of a meat mallet.
- Natural peanut butter is more runny, so if you want to use it, just start with one cup of peanut butter and add more as needed to get the pretzel mixture spreadable. I’d use 1/4 cup peanut butter for the topping.
