    I love, Love, LOVE this recipe! So glad I ran across it, and I’ve made it about 4-5 times. Nothing in it really *needs* adjusting, but since I like to tinker, I add a 30-oz. can of tomato sauce and 4-5 cups of beef broth, because I do prefer it a bit more like a soup than a stew. I’ve also made the small adjustment of the rice, which I thought kinda disappeared in the soup, and I peel and dice a few gold potatoes, cook them in the microwave, and add them at the end. Love potatoes and cabbage together.

    My famously picky ex-husband (and roommate) really enjoys it, as do I. Thanks so much for such a great (and easy!) soup!
