I’ve had great results with quick, regular, and half of each. I just use whatever I have on hand.

Very delicious. Only thing I would do differently is add 1/4 top of salt to the topping recipe.

Great idea, especially if you’re using unsalted butter. 🙂

How would you adjust this recipe for a 9” pie pan?

I think it would work if you cut the recipe in half. It might need a bit less baking time.

Why just for the Autumn (fall)? With availability of apples year round this dish would be delicious any time of year. Does anyone have a recipe for caramel sauce from scratch.

I tried out your recipe for a party and it was a hit! I used some yummy Granny Smith apples only and it was just the right combo of sweet and tangy. Thanks so much for sharing!
