    So no butter in the recipe ?

      Nope, they are cream scones. The fat from the heavy cream makes them extra soft and tender, but they aren’t as flaky as other scones and biscuits.

    These are so good and easy to make. Do you know if you can make them with gluten free flour?

    The is a big light blue box that clearly states click for printable recipe. I have clicked and clicked and nothing happens. any suggestions????

    This is such a wonderful and easy recipe. My 6 year old son helped me make them (he’s my little kitchen helper). Thank you so much for posting this. We loved these chocolate chip scones, they are delicious!!! My new go to recipe for scones!

      So glad you liked them Courtney! My five year old likes helping me make them too. Her favorite part is adding the chocolate chips (a girl after my own heart). 🙂
