Count Your Many Blessings sign – this easy sign is a perfect way to remember your blessings. Makes easy and meaningful Thanksgiving decor!
Can you believe Thanksgiving is three days away? Me neither! I am still frantically trying to finish up my Thanksgiving decor. Thank goodness it isn’t at my house this year!
I’ve been working on my entry table, and needed a little something to fill some space on the right side. I got the idea for this sign from Catherina’s Creative Corner. She used it in a gorgeous fall display. Her sign is simply stunning, and she even used her own handwriting. You should check it out!
I needed something much smaller, and much quicker. I asked the members of my family to list 5-10 blessings they are grateful for. Then I simply typed them up and printed them on some tan cardstock. I used a frame that I already had, and attached some vinyl lettering to the glass. Then I tied a ribbon around the bottom.
I plan on printing out a new “blessings” paper every year. I think it will be fun to see how things change as my kids get older.
I really like your framed blessings sign! What font did you use for the “Count your many blessings”?
Kristi, I used a font called “the buns”. I downloaded it free several years ago, so I don’t remember where, but hopefully you can find it by searching. It’s a fun one!
What a cute idea. And Thanksgiving 2013 will be here before you know it!
