I think sometimes we all feel like our blog isn't "good enough". Other bloggers get dozens, even hundreds of comments when we only get a few. Newer blogs than ours have four times as many followers. I admit that on some "down" days I wonder what I'm doing wrong, what could I do better.
I was thrilled to find out that Heidi at Tried and True Cooking with Heidi, gave me a blog award. It helped me remember that the purpose for blogging isn't about stats and numbers, it's about sharing with other people. People just like us who are looking for ways to make life a little better, a little easier, a little tastier, a little more beautiful, or even a little funnier. If we do that for just one person, our blog has made a difference in the world. Thanks Heidi!!!
And because we have had a houseful of family over the weekend and I haven't posted a recipe for three days, I thought I better give you one so you don't all rise up in rebellion.
I actually made these meatballs for our little family Superbowl party. Then I promptly forgot to post the recipe. I just found the photo. They were fast and easy and really tasty. Everyone at the party loved them and I came home with an empty plate!
You can make them smaller for appetizers:
Or make them a little larger and serve them as a main dish with some green salad and a side dish. We like these Ranch Potatoes.

Barbecue Meatballs
2-3 dozen meatballs, cooked (You can use frozen, or your favorite recipe. I used these meatballs.)
Sauce:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
2 tsp mustard
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Combine all ingredients and blend thoroughly. Heat and pour over meatballs.

Have you ever done these in the crockpot? Just wondering how it would turn out if I used the method of cooking the sauce then combining it all in the crockpot to simmer together more.

They would definitely work in the crockpot if you cooked the sauce and then added it to the meatballs. I've served them that way at potlucks so that they stay warm.
