Caramel Apple Dip . . . with just a few ingredients, you can whip up a creamy fruit dip that is just perfect for dunking apples.
This recipe came about because my boys needed an after school snack today and we have lots of apples from our tree that needed to be eaten. I only had a few minutes, so I decided fruit dip was the way to go. I found some caramels in my pantry, and I knew they would be perfect.
My four year old helped me by unwrapping the caramels ( a job I dislike, but he was thrilled about.) Anyway, I just threw a few ingredients together and came up with this caramel apple dip.
Oh man, is it ever good! We all loved it and ate way too much. Fortunately only the 4 year old actually licked his plate clean. The older three know better than to
let me see them doing that have such bad manners.
If you love the combination of apples and caramel, you have got to give this dip a try! It has a yummy caramel flavor that is the perfect compliment to any apple.
