Oreo Rice Krispie Treats– A favorite childhood treat just got better. I dare you to resist these rice krispie treats loaded with chunks of Oreo!

Rice crispy treats are not usually my dessert of choice. But these babies? I could not stop eating them! Because hello. Oreos. Why did I not think of this before? They are amazing!

Best ever Oreo Rice Krispie Treats

The chunks of Oreos add a fun crunch, and of course a yummy chocolate flavor. I can’t even tell you how fast my family consumed these. The white chocolate drizzled on top adds to the epicness of this recipe, but really, the treats are dang good even without it.
How to make the best Oreo Rice Krispie TreatsI like my rice krispie treats nice and gooey, so this recipe has more marshmallows than a standard recipe. In my opinion, they are best when they are still slightly warm. So if I’m eating them after they are cool, I’ll pop them in the microwave for 10-20 seconds. So good!
Soft and gooey Oreo Rice Krispie Treats. These are a must make!Doesn’t that just look yummy?

Soft and gooey Oreo Rice Krispie Treats. These are a must make!

Rice crispy treats with chunks of Oreos and a white chocolate drizzle.

Prep Time 15 minutes
Total Time 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 4 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies
  • 9 Oreos
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Combine cereal and Oreos in a large mixing bowl; set aside.
  2. Line an 11"x 8" pan with foil or waxed paper and spray with non-stick spray. Set aside.
  3. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add marshmallows and reduce heat to medium low. Cook and stir till marshmallows are melted. Stir in the vanilla. Pour over the cereal mixture and stir to coat.
  4. Press firmly into the prepared pan. Use the foil to lift out the rice crispy treats, then cut into squares.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in a small ziplock bag in the microwave at half power. Snip a corner and drizzle the melted chocolate over the bars.

Notes

You can use a 9x13" or a square pan if that's what you have.
