Easy Fabric Scrap Banner

Happy Monday peeps – I hope you had a great weekend! Are any of you suffering from a game day food overload this morning? I know I’m feeling like I should eat a bowl of oatmeal and a kale smoothie or something. But boy did I have some good eats yesterday!

I’m still adding the finishing touches to Rache’s room, and just had to share my latest project. I had tons of leftover fabric from a ruffle pillow that I made for Rachel. So I decided to make a fabric scrap banner to hang above her bed. I think it turned out just adorable, and it’s the perfect accent for above her bed! She loves it too. I have to admit that it is much more fun decorating for a little girl. I get lots more squeals of delight than I ever did with my four boys! 🙂
Easy Fabric Scrap BuntingI couldn’t believe how easy this was to make, and how cute it turned out. I want to make more for other spaces in my house. Wouldn’t it be cute for Valentine’s Day, spring, Christmas. . . just about any holiday.
Easy ripped fabric buntingThese fun fabric colors and patterns just make me happy.
Whip up one of these cute torn fabric buntings in an afternoon! Her room is almost complete, I’m just working on all the little accessories and wall hangings.

I followed Linda’s directions over at Craftaholics Anonymous, so rather than typing out the instructions again, you can just head to her site to get them. If you can tie your own shoes, you can make this bunting!! 🙂

Sorry Maureen, I’m not sure what you mean. There isn’t a pattern, you just tie the scraps of fabric onto the rope.
